Image campaign - dpa-infocom - a subsidiary of Deutsche Presse-Agentur.

The Deutsche Presse-Agentur (German Press-Agency) is Germany's leading news service. In 2000 the subsidiary dpa-infocom arose, and although it wanted to keep with the traditional and reputable image it also wanted to distance itself in a youthful style – in the sense of its modern services: mobile communications, intranet and customised multimedia-services for the web.

The slogan addresses the intelligent reader who is looking between the lines for the meanings, which is the heart of the message – vivid humanity.

These posters for the dpa-infocom campaign, designed by Kathinka Poliáček, are intelligent, profound and amusing. The slogan promises the most up to date news, and readers are able to "Interpret the signs faster" solving picture riddles quickly. The Christmas card is an example for how an image and the phrase play along cheeky and humorously together.
